After you have created a separate TikTok Pixel for experiments on SplitMetrics platform it’s time to connect TikTok Pixel with GTM and start running tests via TikTok source.
2. In the Website Pixel section click the Manage button
3. Select the needed Pixel and click on its name. The Overview Pixel page will open.
Below on the page click the Install Pixel Code button
4. A window will open with installation options. We’ll describe “Install pixel code by 3rd party tool” and “Manually install pixel code” separately.
Start with an “Install pixel code by 3rd party tool”.

Log in to your GTM account by clicking on Connect to a Google account
And select your Account, Container, and Workspace.
6. Go to the Tags section in your GTM account
7. Here you will see the Pixel that you have recently created. It needs to be set up. Click on the name.
8. In Tag Configuration under Advanced Settings you should set Tag firing options – Unlimited
9. The Triggering section will have an automatically created element
You need to delete this trigger and create two new ones
The 1st trigger that has to be created:
Select Some Clicks >> Choose Built-In Variable >> Click Element, matches CSS selector, .sm-install-button. Then, select “Page URL”, “starts with”, and paste the URL for traffic – a unique link that SplitMetrics generates for each experiment.

10. Once everything is set up, you can Save the Tag
11. Submit the tag after the tag creation
12. On the Google Tag Manager dashboard, find and copy the GTM ID that starts with GTM-

13. Manually install pixel code
In the installation method window (p.4) select Manually install pixel code and click Next
14. In the open window you can copy the Pixel by clicking on the top right button of the highlighted window, or saving it (“Download pixel code” button)
15. Go back to your GTM account
To create a new tag, click Add a new tag
16. In the Tag Configuration section choose Custom HTML
17. Insert the TikTok Pixel code
18. In the Advanced Settings you should set Tag firing options – Unlimited
19. In the Triggering sectioncreate two new triggers

23. Go to your experiment dashboard, click Integration -> Google Conversion Tag
24. Insert GTM ID, check the box (Enable Integration), and click Save
